PAID WORK EXPERIENCE IN SPAIN - FAQ

Which should be my Spanish level?

Your Spanish level should be Intermediate at least. The better your Spanish knowledge is, the better are your chances to receive several and good job offers. Also, your application conversations will run better. If you feel unsure about your Spanish knowledge, we recommend taking a Spanish course on the spot. We will determine your Spanish level with our Spanish test and we will assist you rewarding this issue.

Is a job guaranteed for me?

Up to now all our participants got the post they were applied for. Nevertheless, you must comply successfully with the application interview to get any job. We will always arrange your application interviews with jobs according to your Spanish level and your working experience. It is our main aim that you get a job offer immediately after your first application.

How many hours per day will I work?

In most cases participants work 8 hours per day and have a day free per week. Generally, these hours are divided in 2 shifts per day. With some jobs you will have a high season distinction (July and August), when perhaps you will not have free days and you may work up to 10 hours during the day.

Is there a time limit for the program?

Your Paid Work Experience must last 3 months at least, because it is very improbable that an enterprise hires employees for a shorter time. After these 3 months you are officially no longer our participant, but you can go on working on your job if your employer agrees.

I have never worked. Can I also apply?

Yes, you can. If you still don't have any professional experience it will take a little bit longer until a job offer appears, but of course you can apply.

Must I have an application interview?

Yes. After your arrival you will take part in an application interview with the employers. This is essential with all job offers.

STUDENT REVIEWS

" The English school is very comfortable and is near downtown. After lessons we usually went walking to the different malls and stores. We had coffee and stayed until late in the afternoon. Speaking to locals..."
