MADRID CITY
Madrid is the capital city of Spain and the heart of the Iberian Peninsula. Due to its location surrounded by mountains, Madrid boasts warm summers and relatively cold winters. It is a city shaped by contrasts, with traditional neighbourhoods like Malasaña and La Latina neighbourhood, and impressive modern buildings such as Picasso Tower and La Castellana. Madrid's oldest part was built in the time of the Habsburger dynasty and still today we can enjoy its magnificence.
Although Madrid's cultural offer is more than enough for a busy agenda, night outings offer exciting opportunities. Pubs, cafes, bars and discos opened till early morning have made this city famous. You will soon find yourself in a traffic jam on Sunday at 4 o'clock in the morning, and for sure the majority of these people aren't on their way to work!
THE SPANISH SCHOOL
The Spanish school is on the first floor of an important law university, inside the university district of Madrid. The area is well reached by 9 bus lines and the underground. The Spanish school has 40 bright classrooms fully equipped with audiovisual devices and air-conditioners. A lounge, a study room with Internet access, a computer room with 20 computers with Internet connection, 5 televisions, reading room, a library with videotheque, water dispenser and coffee machine.
