SPANISH SCHOOL IN CADIZ

CADIZ CITY

Cadiz is almost completely surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. That's way the city counts with a 260-km long coast and numerous bathing resorts. 
Cadiz is a city with long history and cultural background. It was inhabited by the Phoenicians around 1100 B.C. and later on conquered by the Romans, Visigoths and Muslims. Besides, Cadiz was a important location in the discovery of America.

Nowadays Cadiz is a city dedicated almost entirely to the tourism industry. Its university environment perfectly blends with the kind, friendly and cheerful mood of locals. 

The oldest part of the Cadiz, declared art-historical monument by the EU, is partially surrounded by walls. It counts with the neoclassic cathedral, the holy cross church (old cathedral), the locks of saint Sebastian and of saint Katherine, the ancient country gates, among many others.

THE SPANISH SCHOOL

The Spanish school is located in the oldest part of the city, between the beautiful Mina Square and the Alameda. In this way, students learn Spanish immersed in the most distinguishing cultural and historical places of Cadiz
The Spanish school uses highly effective methods for you to learn the language. Spanish lessons are held within a warm environment and with a well-planned activity program.  

Excursions and leisure activites in Cádiz 

It is our aim to introduce students to the local culture and traditions. That is why we always include extracurricular activities in the student's schedule. They include city tours, visits to museums, libraries and monuments, film demonstrations, parties and barbecues on the beach.

Day trips are also organized and include:

  • Route of the white villages
  • Wine tour
  • Visits to sea bays
  • Visits to nature reserves and Parks (Grazalema, Alcornocales, Donana, etc)
  • Seville
  • Gibraltar
  • Cordoba
  • Malaga, etc.

FLAMENCO COURSES

Courses are suitable for all ages and levels. They can be taken in groups or individually. Instruction includes the teaching of: compasses, dance steps and movements, control of the typical Flamenco's elements (traditional fans, shawl, castanets, hats, etc). 

Levels

  • Beginner: for students who no previous knowledge
  • Intermediate: for students with certain dance knowledge
  • Advanced: for students who know different dance styles
