SPANISH SCHOOL IN ANTIGUA - GUATEMALA

Antigua

Antigua used to be the capital of Guatemala in the 16th century. After a difficult earthquake in 1773, Antigua was destroyed almost entirely and was therefore removed as the capital city. Antigua has more than 30.000 inhabitants and was declared World Cultural Heritage Site by the UNESCO. With its impressive colonial shape, numerous hotels, restaurants, shops, multicoloured markets and numerous museums, Antigua has a lot to offer. The most important cultural activity in Antigua are the gorgeous processions during Easter. Another attraction are the volcanoes which are partly active.

The Spanish school in Antigua is in a restored building from the colonial age, only few streets away from the main square. Spanish lessons are held in classrooms as well as in the garden of the school to enjoy sunny days.

Spanish learning experience

Our Spanish courses include all aspects of the language learning (Speaking, listening, writing and reading). They dive into the Spanish culture to achieve effective learning. We also offer flexibility concerning the needs of each student, and we guarantee success by the commitment of our teachers and staff.

Spanish lessons take place from Monday to Friday, all year round. The minimum length of all Spanish courses is of one week, with an average number of 3 students per class. Every lesson lasts 55 minutes. During the first day students take a placement test to determine the level of the language. Social and cultural activities complete the immersion program.
