SPANISH SCHOOL IN ANTIGUA - GUATEMALA
Antigua
Antigua used to be the capital of Guatemala in the 16th century. After a difficult earthquake in 1773, Antigua was destroyed almost entirely and was therefore removed as the capital city. Antigua has more than 30.000 inhabitants and was declared World Cultural Heritage Site by the UNESCO. With its impressive colonial shape, numerous hotels, restaurants, shops, multicoloured markets and numerous museums, Antigua has a lot to offer. The most important cultural activity in Antigua are the gorgeous processions during Easter. Another attraction are the volcanoes which are partly active.

Spanish lessons take place from Monday to Friday, all year round. The minimum length of all Spanish courses is of one week, with an average number of 3 students per class. Every lesson lasts 55 minutes. During the first day students take a placement test to determine the level of the language. Social and cultural activities complete the immersion program.
