SPANISH COURSES IN COSTA RICA

Learn Spanish in one of the most diverse and colourful regions of Central America, Costa Rica. Get ready to relax along quite beaches, then get thrilled by extreme sports and later on enjoy beach parties and local festivals until late at night.

Natural wonders are other features that define the country. 27% of Costa Rica lies under national parks and protected areas. Costa Rica counts with more than 20 national parks, from which two have been declared World Cultural Heritage Site by the UNESCO. As you travel along the country you will be surprised by all type of landscapes that range from sandy beaches ideal for surfing to mountains and volcanoes.

HEREDIA: Also known as the "city of the flowers", Heredia is small cities of beautiful colonial charm, with ancient buildings, narrow streets and monuments. Heredia received many visitors annually thanks to its close location to San Jose, the capital city. Heredia has managed to keep its traditional history untouched tough being near such a modern metropolis. The rural are of Heredia and its broad coffee plantations are magical landscapes for sightseeing and outdoor entertainment.

SAN JOSE: San José is the capital of Costa Rica and at the same time the cultural centre of the country. Here you will find all important government buildings and a multiplicity of theatres and the famous university of Costa Rica. San Jose is the business centre of the country, where streets are filled by musicians and artists. The city also boasts an exciting nightlife so that you never get bored.

MANUEL ANTONIO: This small city lies on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Settled in the National Park of the same name, Manuel Antonio is a paradise for nature lovers who will discover fantastic beaches, islands and breathtaking rain forests. Certainly, the Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the smallest ones of the Central American state, but also the most fascinating. 

MONTEVERDE: This city lies in the high mountains of Tilaran in Costa Rica, at 1440 mts. height. Monteverde means "green mountains" and this perfectly defines what the city offers you: the mystic rain forest hidden in clouds along a wide extension of mountain ranges.

FLAMINGO BEACH: located in the province of Guanacaste, Flamingo Beach is without a doubt one of the most beautiful beaches of Costa Rica. Here you will find untouched nature, astonishing landscapes and such pure waters that the city has been awarded with the "blue flag" distinction that speaks for the high quality and cleanness of the place.

JACO BEACH: a must for beach fans and surfers. Jaco Beach is a rather small, dreamy little village very popular among young travellers and intrepid backpackers. It offers modern facilities for a comfortable trip and all the adrenaline of a beach city, with local surf contests and tonnes of beach entertainment.

TAMARINDO: Tamarindo lies on the north Pacific coast of Costa Rica and is perfect for those wishing to relax in a natural paradise. The beaches of Tamarindo belong to the most prestigious of the country with many aquatic sports possibilities. The city itself counts with numerous restaurants, art galleries and tasty traditional bakeries.

We offer our students:

  • Combine destinations: you have the possibility to begin your Spanish course in an specific location in Costa Rica and to continue in another school in Argentina, Chile, Guatemala or Uruguay.
  • Course duration: Spanish lessons last between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on the Spanish school location. All Spanish courses have a minimum duration of one week.
  • Minimum age: 18 years old for all Spanish courses.
  • Highest quality: our language courses are developed especially for foreign students, are held by highly-qualified teachers and provide successful cultural immersion.
  • Small number of students: between 4 to7 students per Spanish class.
  • Six course levels: Spanish courses are divided into six levels of language, from Beginners to Advanced. 
  • Certificate: issued at the end of the Spanish course stating the duration of the course, the level achieved and the number of Spanish lessons.
  • Social and cultural activities: varied program with theatre, cinema and museum visits, parties, city strolls, dance lessons, weekend trips and travelling around Costa Rica.
  • Extra services: accommodation, transfer service to and from the airport and complete insurance.
