INTERNSHIPS

Internship placements available in various professional areas including marketing, business, consulting, human resources, advertising, architecture, fashion design, computer programming, translations, teaching, law, accounting and more. As an intern you will get a deep insight into the local culture while gaining solid experience in the working area you choose. Besides, you will practice and improve your Spanish as you spend an unforgettable time.

Internships are non paid and available in: Argentina, Chile, and Spain. Length of each placement varies depending on the host company. As long as you complete a minimum time then the length of the placement can be determined by you.

With the placement finder below you may find your best option to work abroad. Search through all our Standard Internship Placements available and find the one that best suits your needs. If what you were looking for is not available you should look into requesting a customized internship placement.

Two Types of Internship Programs

There are two types of Internship Programs available; Standard and Customized Internships.

Standard Internships are placements that are already arranged by our host companies and you find them through the Internship placement finder. The placements are offered by companies/organizations who receive interns all year long.

Application Procedure: You apply to three different placements and you categorize them from most important to least important (Remember you should be flexible about your placement, if not we recommend applying to a Customized Placement). We will present your resume and details to the company with the most important priority and if that company doesn't accept you or the placement is already taken, then we do the same for the second most important placement. Seldom does it happen that we don't find a matching placement for our participants. If we didn't you would receive a full refund.

Why choose a Standard Internship?:You should opt for a Standard Internship if you find a placement within the placement finder above or if your area of interest is reflected within the finder and there is a similar placement.

Customized Internships are placements that have not been arranged yet but have been requested by our participants. These placements are arranged according to your work expectations.

Application Procedure: You request a placement in the area you prefer and you can be as detailed as you want to be; you let us know your expectations. You may choose the industry and area of the company and even the type of tasks you want to be doing. We will present your resume and details to an unlimited number of companies until we find your ideal placement. When you are very specific, it may happen that a placement can't be found. We will let you know within about 4 weeks if we foresee any issues with your expectations. If we can't find a placement, you would receive a full refund. Please note that internships are not available in Banks or Financial Institutions.

Why choose a Customized Internship?: You should opt for a Customized Internship if your area of interest is very specific or if you are expecting to receive academic credit by your experience abroad and your university has specific requests.

Note: Placements available depend on the location. Please refer to each location through the tabs above to check availability of placements.

Why Intern Abroad?

Interning in different countries is a great way to keep people and the global market united. We are living in a world today that is becoming both more global and more dependent on other countries. Between natural resources and technological advancements, there is not one country that can survive without the help of another. For that, working and collaborating with countries abroad is essential in order for global markets to thrive and progress. The amount of different job opportunities in each field of expertise is endless.

Interning abroad is a great way to learn different languages, which will inevitably expand cultural competence and job variety. Learning a language in a job environment incorporates an entirely new dimension in the working field. To be fluent in a different language requires multidimensional thinking which adds a creative component to any job. To intern in your home country will give you job experience, however only from the angle that you are used to. To intern in another country adds an entirely new element of learning how to adapt and experience different work environments. "You get so used to the working techniques in your own country that you don´t even think there are other ways of functioning. Working abroad gives you a sense of organization and effectiveness," says an intern in Cordoba, Argentina.
